Still Here

Yes, I'm still here. Haven't posted much lately, but I was out and about today. Here's the proof:

I snapped that shot as we were crossing the bridge from Houghton into Hancock this blustery February afternoon.

A bad bout of migraines (off and on) has prevented me from posting much recently.

That happens sometimes. Where are those Carter's Little Liver Pills when I need them? Couldn't find them at Walmart!

The thing I find most amusing about that old advertisement is the reality of what those little liver pills really were - a laxative! Seriously! A laxative! Ha! Nope, not gonna help my migraines!

Anyway, I think I'm on the mend again. I'll try to do better on the blog next week!

All is well in the Keweenaw.

  1. Sorry about your migraines. Hope you feel better soon. Been across that bridge quite a few times in my life. Love the old buildings in Houghton/Hancock.

    1. Thank you, Pam. Doing much, much better today! Yes, we have so many beautiful old buildings up here. My husband and I were just talking about that on Sunday. One of our favorites is the old fire station in Calumet.

  2. Sorry that you have not been feeling well. My hubby battles chronic daily headaches as well as migraines so I understand what you have been going through. I pray that you will be healed of migraines and that God will bless you with peace and comfort.

    1. Thank you, Heart! I'm always overwhelmed when Christians I have never met reach out to me - and for me - in prayer. What a powerful and beautiful gift we can give to one another!
