Yippee! I'm back - and it's color time!
After 2 lonnnggg weeks of extremely limited (like almost none) Internet use, my gigabytes have been replenished today. If you remember, I had to purchase a new laptop this last month. When setting up a new computer, the first thing it does is download all the updates to the preinstalled software. Of course, I also wanted to download other things like Google Chrome (Sorry Microsoft Edge!) and my Norton Security software (Sorry McAfee!). Between that and the Internet shopping for the new laptop in the first place, I sure ate through my monthly allotment of gigabytes FAST! I still have a few more things to do, such as download my photo watermark software and oodles of free fonts, but that will have to wait a bit. In the meantime, I'm back - connected to the world once more - and it's color time in the Keweenaw!
To wade back into the land of blogging, I'll give you a quick sneak peek at the colors in our yard. First up is the maple tree near the dining room window.

I have lots of photos to share, but I'm rationing gigabytes until the 11th! Why?
I had to purchase a new laptop. (Boy, I go through laptops fast! It always seems to be the hinges I wear out first. On the bright side, the hinges on my lovely new red laptop seem to be much better!) In order to set up this new laptop, I had to download the most recent updates. That took a lot of my data for the month. So, rationing it is!

We were away from home on Friday afternoon and evening, but we had an uninvited visitor while gone.
Yep, another bird feeder was missing. After some searching, Mr. Cut Off was able to find it in the woods. Of course, it was totally destroyed.
Due to black bear hunting season, we thought our local bears had surely all fled to even more remote areas of the Keweenaw, but there's obviously at least one still hanging around.
Oh well!
