Sunday Reflections

I did something I've never done before. I started my Christmas decorating on Thanksgiving morning with this tree in the dining area. I've AWLAYS waited until the day after Thanksgiving to begin decorating. Well, it was meant to be, as it started snowing as I worked!

All is well in the Keweenaw.

  1. Maybe this is the year we will all do things a bit differently? Beautiful tree, beautiful verse!

  2. How wonderful that it began to snow as you decorated! Something to always remember - your world being made fresh, pure, and new.

  3. I decorated BEFORE Thanksgiving this year, since we weren't hosting dinner here. I just felt as if this year we needed the lights and the hope of Christmas for as long as possible.

  4. Seems a lot around where I live are breaking tradition. Trees and decorations going up early before December. I think with the year we've had most are anxious for something to remind us of what the world really is all about. Jesus....
We are to have snow tomorrow, and grandson brought my Christmas down so maybe will put me in mood to do mine. Your photo and tree are so pretty. Have a great week.
