I found myself re-reading this verse here at your blog. I saw it with fresh eyes! I've often said that I "waste" Christ's suffering when I worry. His suffering on the Cross freed me from the bondage of fear. For perfect Love casts out fear. Yet too often I can fall back into worry. This verse perfectly speaks to what the Lord had already spoke to my heart. And I've read this verse many times before! I love when the Lord meets me, even in just one sentence from the whole of Scripture. What an amazing God we serve!
Thanks so much for sharing! This was a good reminder with that much more clarity for me.
So grateful for His yoke of freedom! Have a blessed Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI love that verse.
ReplyDeleteEntangled is such a vivid and strong description of what happens to us when we lose sight if our freedom.

How foolish I am to allow myself to get entangled in those old chains after Christ has set me free! May I choose to live each moment in his freedom!
