Sunday Reflections


Our Heavenly Father heaps undeserved abundant blessings upon us every day. We're so thankful we've been saved by His grace through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray that you won't allow yourself to be robbed of contentment as we go through the upcoming holiday season.

 All is well in the Keweenaw.

    Beautiful photo! Our first deer was spotted in our front yard just this week :) Always a sight to behold! Have a blessed Thanksgiving and thank you for the reminder to be contented always.

      Thanks, Joanne. These are such fun animals to watch. Mama is so protective of her newborn fawn, but by late fall/early winter, I've witnessed her kicking that same young one away from a food source. The world will be screaming at us to be anything but content for the next 5 weeks especially.

    I love your photo of the deer. Is it holding something in its mouth? The Scripture from 1 Timothy is one of my favorites. A good reminder that we come to and leave the world with nothing. May the legacy we leave behind be one of kindness and love!

      Thank you! Yes, the deer is holding a carrot in her mouth. A nice home and other material possessions are just "things." My hearse won't be pulling a U-Haul.

    Beautiful capture of the deer and woods. The deer is so precious looking like he's posing for your camera. :) Lovely scripture reminder that all that is necessary for life is provided. Have a nice Thanksgiving week.

    I love this verse. It's kind of strange but I want to donate my body when I die and when they are done I just want them to get rid of the ashes. I don't want to be spread anyplace and I certainly don't want to be put in some kind of a necklace for my children to be saddled with. I just want to go out with what I came in with. I will be in a better place
