Bald Eagle!
We've seen more eagles - especially bald eagles - since moving to the U.P. than we ever did before. When we saw a bald eagle feeding on road kill as we were on our way to Rhinelander, Wisconsin recently, we pulled over to snap a few shots. (Don't worry - I'm not going to show you a photo of the deceased deer.) We were still in the U.P. and traffic was quite heavy in both directions on that 2-lane highway that morning. Bald eagles are smart, so it flew off to perch in a tree and wait for a break in traffic. Can you see it?
