Hummers - Part 2

I've been watching "Hummingbird TV" this morning - specifically their mating behavior - quite interesting. Here's the male on top of the shepherd's hook; the female is eating at the feeder.

These are Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds. The male is the one with the ruby throat. He's been busy chasing off the other males and doing his best to attract the attention of the females.

All is well in the Keweenaw.
