Sunday Reflections

A dear friend passed away this week. Ann was redeemed with the precious blood of Christ and was truly one of the most beautiful women I've ever known. Though her body was ravaged by rheumatoid arthritis for many years, her countenance radiated the beautiful soul within her. She'll be tremendously missed by her family and friends, but we look forward to walking with her on streets of gold in the sweet by and by.

All is well in the Keweenaw.

  1. I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband suffers from RA as well and it is quite debilitating. It must be a comfort for you to know that she is at rest and out of pain with her sweet Lord.

  3. I'm with you in grief this weekend. A dear friend finally lost her nearly 5-year battle with cancer, and we're going to the services this afternoon. It's a mercy to know that she is with the Lord and free of that sick body, but my heart aches for her husband of fifty years, her children, and her grandchildren.
We need these reminders that our time here is temporary, and that what we can see with our eyes is not all there is.

  4. Prayers for her family, friends, and you. As a lamb without blemish and without spot. My prayer also for all humans. What a great scripture you share with the loss of your friend here on Earth.
