Out & About

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, so we were out and about. Yes, you read that right. Mr. Cut Off and I actually left the house, got into the Traverse, belted ourselves into seated upright positions, and went to town. I really hate to brag, but we were both wearing shoes and everything.

It was raining to beat the band when we left.

Thankfully, the downpour had stopped by the time we made it to town, so I didn't get drenched between the vehicle and the doctor's office. Still slow, you know. Mr. Cut Off made good use of his time and went to the grocery store to stock up on a few perishables while I was in the doctor's office.

Hang onto your hats now. Here's the super exciting part. After my appointment, WE went into Dollar General. I didn't walk down every aisle, but I made it all the way to the rear of the store and back to the front again. Yep, pretty proud of myself!

The old spine was feeling like it had been through quite a workout by then, so we headed home - and the sky was blue again!
