All is well in the Keweenaw.

  1. Reading this scripture, I'm thinking there is no way that we could fathom the Lord's thoughts, but for sure he knows our ways and our thoughts because he chose us even before we knew.
I visited the story of how you got here.....Loved reading it. It looks from your photos that you couldn't have chosen a better place to move. Sorry for your loss, but so, so glad God had a plan for you to find happiness again, and from your story, it sounds like he gave it in abundance. ~Sunday Hugs~

    1. Oh, Peabea. The Lord DID give me happiness in abundance! I so appreciate your kind remarks. When we're traveling through those valleys it's sometimes difficult to remember verses like this one. If we hold on and have faith, He will see us through.

  2. Lovely photo. I am so glad His thoughts and ways are higher than mine. And when I remember this truth, I know that He sees way off into the future and knows best what He is doing. Have a blessed Sunday!

    1. Yes, our thoughts are so finite - so limited. The Lord always knows what's best for us. We just need to trust.

  3. Is this a recent image? Do you have snow? We had snow last week but it's all melted now!

  4. It's a powerful truth that God's thoughts are higher than ours and He actually knows what is best!

  5. I'm guilty of putting God in my man made box. How I love when He proves me wrong!

  6. I love this passage of Scripture. I find it comforting that God's ways and thoughts are so different from ours - so much higher. And yet he loves us. Beautiful picture too!
