Fascinating Fading

As I wrote previously, subtle changes are happening up here to let us know that autumn is advancing on us.

Most of our foliage is still very green, but our ferns are beginning to fade.

They're going from green to gold, and for the first time ever. . . 

I inspected them very closely to notice exactly how they're changing.
