I just created the first Snowfall Chart of the 2014-15 season. It can be accessed the same way as last year - on the Snowfall Chart page - in the left blog column. It's the last item on the list of Blog Pages.
Here's the comparison between this year and last year for the month of October.
First Measurable Snowfall:
This Year = October 30
Last Year = October 20
Total Number of Snowfall Days (Measurable) in October:
This Year = 1
Last Year = 4
Total Inches in October:
This Year = 3"
Last Year = 2"
Steve took advantage of his brief window of opportunity (dry roads) to move his Baby to the new house this morning. Here she is - getting ready to go.
Her cover was in the back window for the trip. Steve was in a hurry, so he didn't take time to fold it - very unusual for my tidy husband. Don't worry. Steve says she's covered up again now, and the cover isn't wrinkled. By the way, can you believe that reflection? You can clearly see Cocoa and the tree in the front yard in this close up.
Good progress was made on the Great Room/Loft ceiling today. I should have some photos for you soon.
All is well in the Keweenaw.

Bye Bye Baby! Enjoy your new home! See you soon!
