Sneak Peek Friday - Steve

As you know, we're building a home in the northwoods - about as far north as the woods can get! Our walls and ceilings will all be tongue and groove knotty pine, but that doesn't mean we must adhere to a strict northwoods theme in our decorating with log furniture, bear statues, etc. (Actually, Steve would probably be OK with that if I wanted it.) When we were visiting the town of Clare several years back, we purchased this sign.

That sign (with the shotgun shell) definitely spoke to Steve, but we now joke that we would rather be lost in our home in the woods! You will find some elements of the northwoods in our new home, but I believe a home should reflect the styles/personalities of both the husband and wife - not just the husband - and not just the wife. So, this wife will make sure that sign is hanging in our new home somewhere. A place of honor will also be reserved for this guy. . .

and his brothers! I'm not going to make him live in the basement or the barn.
