Rough Plumbing

I'm a little behind on the blog due to the change in laptops and more lost days with a migraine this week, but I'm on the mend again now. Sorry about that.

The crew started the rough plumbing and heating 2 weeks ago. You might not find these photos that thrilling, but we wouldn't want a home without plumbing! Yup, I'm spoiled that way.

This is where my washing machine will sit.

Work in the basement:

Once again, the boys made quite a mess. Check out the basement floor.

Once again, my tidy hubby did some cleaning up after them.

The 2 walls by the tub in the master bath have been moved. You can see the master bedroom closet in the background - nice and big! It's so big that it needs a register for heat/AC.

Here's the master bath shower - great for old age - 5 ft. wide with a seat and one piece. Since we want to live in this house as long as possible, we've kept aging in mind as we choose our fixtures/finishes. This shower should be very easy for me to maintain.

Here's the master bath linen closet. The toilet will sit to the right of it.

Moving upstairs, here's the shower in the guest bathroom. The brown protective tape is still attached to it.

That was how things looked at the end of the day on March 22nd. Stay tuned for more updates.

By the way, winter remains! Tons of new snow outside this morning, but the sun is shining. It's gorgeous!

All is well in the Keweenaw.
